Today, there are more than 1,000 vulnerable childr

Today, there are more than 1,000 vulnerable children in Singapore who are separated from their natural families. This can be due to reasons such as being abused, neglected or abandoned. Or parents being unable to care for them due to imprisonment, physical or mental illness and the death of one or both parents.
Many of them are confused, hurt and are seeking to experience the security and love of a family. As a community of faith, some of us can open our homes to foster, others can offer respite care. Above all, we can pray for them.
Join us tomorrow for PraySingapore’s monthly prayer for vulnerable children as we premier Jane’s story together.
Hear from her foster parents as they share about their journey. We will pray for the family and share how you too can play your part to help children-in-need.

“Can God forgive me for my abortion?”
It’s a question many post abortive women and men have.
And behind that question is often a mix of regret, guilt and a desire to know what needs to done to be forgiven.
It starts with acknowledging the mistake, repenting from it and asking God for forgiveness. God loves you and He sent His son, Jesus to die on the cross for your sins. He is a loving father who comforts the broken hearted. And that includes you.
If you are seeking God’s forgiveness for an abortion, or you know someone who is, come to God just as you are and allow Him to heal, forgive and restore you.

It takes a lot of trust, courage and vulnerability to share with someone about your pregnancy and why you are considering an abortion. Your friend who shared this news with you might be afraid, confused and needs a listening ear.
The reaction of the first person that she confides in often sets the tone for her decision making process. Hence, it is important that your response is one that is kind and non-judgemental.
How can you respond in a way that is loving, supportive and life-affirming at the same time for both her and her baby? How do you journey with a friend who is considering an abortion?
